CASSITY B. GIES

OWNER, ATTORNEY AT LAW

Cassity is an experienced family law attorney with an undeniable passion for honest advocacy. Her time as an Oklahoma foster parent sparked an unwavering desire to protect children and families from the legal fallout that follows trauma and abuse.

With nearly a decade of additional experience in immigration, intimate partner violence, and juvenile law, Cassity holds an impressive and comprehensive understanding of collateral issues touching family law. She approaches family law with a mindful eye on the motivations and values that matter most to her clients.

PRESERVING A PIECE OF HISTORY

The seeds for Sage Law were planted long ago in Cassity’s earliest vision to build a firm that approaches family law in a professional, personal, and holistic way. As her practice expanded, so too did her vision – igniting exponentially the moment she saw the bones of 610 Colcord Drive.

The historical significance of Sage Law’s office captivated Cassity as she grew to know D. Frank Plater, owner of Plater & Co., and the story behind his multi-generational law firm that occupied the two-story building across from the Civic Center for more than half a century.

In 2022, she leaned into her intuition and began the process of transforming this unique building into a comfortable space for clients to share and write their stories.

By prioritizing scaled accessibility and enhanced client connection, Sage Law’s design honors a corporate culture based on the power of “good vibes.”
